Coventry Carol is an old English Christmas carol, usually sung by a church choir (rather than a congregation). This peaceful ambient instrumental version aims to paint a picture of an old rural church, in a peaceful winter snow setting, under a canopy of stars (much like the cover photo).
Each verse has a slightly different musical arrangement, as if to focus on a different part of the overall picture - the church, the snow, the trees, the stars.
