Lament of the Starlight Princess

The original inspiration behind "Lament of the Starlight Princess" was the original Star Wars movie (New Hope) where Princess Leia's home planet was destroyed by the Death Star. I imagined how she felt. When I decided that the album theme was to be about space exploration and adventure, I considered dropping this track and saving it for another project. However, as the first Spaceport Cornwall launch failed I realised that space exploration is not all about happy adventure. There will be sadness and disappointment. So I decided to leave it in, and have it early in the album. This is why there is a complete change of mood early on in the album.
